Thai Massage 

According to the legend, Thai massage is a healing practice that was created in Thailand thousands of years ago by Chiwaka Komaraphat, healer to the Buddha. This holistic art combines acupressure, strokes, and stretches to release energy blockages, promoting deep relaxation and healing. Unlike Western massage, which is often performed on tables and requires undressing, Thai massage is conducted fully clothed on a comfortable mat. It incorporates yoga-like positions and therapeutic pressure to enhance flexibility, relieve muscle and joint tension, and improve overall physical and mental well-being. 

Research indicates that even a brief 15-minute session can significantly reduce stress levels, enhance cognitive function, and increase alertness. Beyond its immediate benefits, Thai massage is known to boost immunity, alleviate chronic pain such as headaches and back pain, and help balance mood. This ancient practice offers a comprehensive approach to health, addressing both physical ailments and promoting a profound sense of relaxation and mental clarity. 

Shiatsu 

Shiatsu, a Japanese healing bodywork rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and influenced by Western techniques, involves applying finger, thumb, and palm pressure to specific points on the body. This method aims to enhance the body’s natural healing abilities by promoting the flow of energy through meridians. 

Unlike traditional massage therapies, Shiatsu focuses on addressing imbalances in the body’s energy flow believed to cause physical and mental ailments. It combines gentle to firm pressure with stretches and joint movements to stimulate circulation, lymphatic drainage, and the nervous system. This holistic approach not only relieves stress and pain but also supports overall health and well-being. 

Shiatsu sessions are conducted fully clothed on a mat placed on the floor, fostering a calm and meditative environment. This therapy is beneficial for a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal issues, respiratory problems, and stress-related disorders. 

Breathwork 

Breathwork involves intentional techniques to manipulate breathing patterns for specific outcomes, rooted in ancient practices like Pranayama from Vedic texts. It’s a dynamic practice used for stress management and overall wellness, influencing physical, mental, and emotional states profoundly. 

Through conscious breathing, practitioners tap into the body’s natural mechanisms. Benefits include reducing stress and anxiety, alkalizing the blood, boosting immunity, reducing inflammation, and enhancing resilience against chronic illness. Breathwork can induce feelings of euphoria by affecting neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin, promoting happiness and emotional well-being. 

Accessible to all, under certain conditions, regardless of age or health condition, breathwork offers a transformative journey towards inner peace, heightened awareness, and improved overall health.

My name is Sylvain and I’m a dedicated holistic therapist specialising in guiding individuals towards mind-body-soul alignment and empowerment. Originally trained as an engineer with a passion for sustainability and protection of our planet Earth, I rapidly realised that my true calling lay in helping others reconnect with themselves to achieve profound healing and personal growth. 

I am a certified Heilpraktiker (naturopath), Thai masseur and breathwork facilitator, holding a DEUG in Psychology. My practice brings various methods in synergy: from psychotherapy to nutrition, to massage and breathwork. My offerings are also based on years of experience in so-called esoteric practices like energy work, astrology, and tarot. 

I believe in empowering individuals to take charge of their well-being through personalised therapeutic journeys. Drawing from my experiences of living in five countries and speaking four languages fluently, I empathise deeply with the challenges of transitions and integration, offering support across various life stages and spiritual paths. 

My goal is always to provide a safe and nurturing space where you can explore holistic practices tailored to your unique needs. From addressing physical ailments to navigating emotional blocks and spiritual crises, I offer compassionate guidance and effective therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing and self-discovery.
