As a clinical psychologist for twenty years, I support children, adolescents, and adults at various stages of their lives, particularly during periods of transition, fragility, or crisis. I am also trained in systemic family therapy and EMDR.
My background has led me to develop a solid expertise in supporting individuals facing traumatic events, including psychological, physical, and sexual violence, whether occurring within the family context or outside of it, as well as accidents, terrorist attacks, and other particularly distressing life events. I practiced for over eleven years at the Psychotrauma Center of the Institute of Victimology in Paris, which allowed me to gain an in-depth understanding of child protection and the collaborative work with various stakeholders involved in supporting and protecting victims.
My training in systemic family therapy occupies a central place in my practice. It has enabled me to develop a nuanced understanding of relational dynamics and family systems, especially when they are sources of psychological suffering. It allows for an understanding of how difficulties can be constructed, maintained, and transformed within family ties, through interactions, assigned roles, and sometimes dysfunctional patterns. This systemic perspective profoundly enriches my understanding of individual suffering situations.
After several years of practice within various hospital and medico-social institutions, I now work in private practice with adolescents, young adults, and adults presenting a variety of issues (psychotrauma, anxiety disorders, depression, relational or professional difficulties). Additionally, I lead professional practice analysis groups for social workers in the City of Paris and in various institutions (shelters and social reintegration centers, CAF), to support their clinical reflection, professional stance, and to prevent risks of burnout and exhaustion.
My approach is now integrative: I rely on various therapeutic tools to offer support tailored to the uniqueness of each person, their history, and their needs. I place essential importance on listening, kindness, and collaborative work. The support I provide aims to help each individual navigate periods of change, make sense of their experiences and suffering, regain solid internal references, and build a life more in line with themselves.
