Psychologist
I'm Luka, a clinical psychologist from Lithuania, though home has never really been one place for me. I studied in the UK, worked in Germany, and now split my time between Kaunas and Berlin, so I know what it actually feels like to build a life across borders and languages.
Most of my work is with emotion regulation, mood swings, and the kind of anxiety that shows up when life feels too intense or too uncertain, especially for people managing more than one culture at once. I also have ADHD myself, so if your brain tends to run loud, you won't need to explain that part to me.
I am currently training in existential humanistic therapy, which mostly means I am less interested in fixing you and more interested in actually understanding you. I also am involved research on emotion regulation with a team at the University of Exeter, which is mostly about emotions within bipolar disorder.
My sessions can run either in english or lithuanian.
