About Me
I am a Counseling Psychologist with over 7 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through emotional, developmental, and mental health challenges. I have completed Masters in Psychology and Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered, where I strive to create a safe and accepting space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe that every person has a unique story, and therapy is not about changing who you are, but about understanding yourself better, developing inner strengths, and finding effective ways to navigate life’s challenges.
My Experience
I have worked intensively with children and adolescents, including those with neurodevelopmental differences such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), learning difficulties, developmental delays, Conduct disorder and behavioural challenges. I have supported children through individual sessions, developmental assessments, behavioural support, and structured intervention planning, while working closely with families to better understand their child’s needs. My work with children focuses on skill development, emotional regulation, communication, confidence, independence, and overall well-being. I believe that every child develops in their own unique way, and my role is to provide support that recognises their strengths while helping them overcome challenges.
Alongside my work with children and families, I have immensely supported adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional difficulties, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, and challenges related to life transitions. I help individuals understand their emotions, recognise patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build resilience while moving towards greater emotional well-being.
Having worked across public and private settings, community mental health, and research settings in India and Canada, I have had the opportunity to support individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. These experiences have shaped my culturally sensitive and inclusive approach to therapy.
