Enrico Strano Psychologist
Psychologist in Berlin
I graduated in clinical psychology from the University of Catania in 2012. Following this, I volunteered for several years as a psychologist in oncology and psychiatric hospital settings and worked as an educator in community services.
Afterwards, I left Sicily to volunteer in Turkey, providing support to Syrian refugees. This experience marked the beginning of my professional activity in various social and clinical contexts across Turkey, Bulgaria, and Northern Italy. My roles included educator in a psychiatric community for minors with substance use disorders, case manager at the Ivrea prison, and psychologist in a school in the Turin area.
I am currently based in Berlin, where I live and practice.
My background is mainly rooted in psychoanalytic studies. Over time, however, my clinical vision has been influenced by systemic-relational therapy and psychosynthesis, also shaped by my own personal therapy. These different perspectives influence the way I work today.
I offer a space for support, but more importantly a space for transformation. This process allows the person to recognize patterns, redefine the meanings given to objects, and reconnect with his or her own resources. Through dialogue and presence, focused psychological interview can create the emerging conditions for change by helping to relate to events differently.
